Karlovac Piano Festival

The Karlovac Piano Festival is held each summer in Karlovac, Croatia, not far from Zagreb. Founded in 2013 and hosted by the Karlovac Music School, the country's oldest musical institution (established in 1804), it offers masterclasses, individual lessons and recitals by guest artists and students centered on the piano. Since 2014 it has also run an international piano competition, endorsed by the Alink-Argerich Foundation, drawing young pianists from several countries.
