KigaliUp

Launched in 2011, KigaliUp has grown into Rwanda's leading music festival and one of East Africa's best regarded. Held every summer in a park in the capital, it features two stages, a craft market and diverse food stalls, spanning genres such as world music, reggae, funk, blues and hip-hop with artists from across the continent and its diaspora. Despite drawing large crowds, it keeps an intimate, community feel that lets musicians and fans mix freely.
