Klangfarben Festival

Klangfarben Festival is held every year in Regensburg, between the arcaded courtyard of the Thon Dittmer Palais and the neighbouring Haidplatz. Organised by the Klangfarben association, active since 2003, it focuses on world music: Afro-groove, fado, Malian blues, flamenco, tango and sevdah have all been heard there. Evening concerts by international acts complete a programme that has featured Butter Funk Family, Divanhana and Les Frères Smith.
