About
The Linzer Klangwolke, literally the sound cloud, is an open-air multimedia event held every year since 1979 in Linz's Donaupark as part of the Brucknerfest. It combines music, staging, text and lighting into a shared artistic experience, with a classical edition, a children's edition and a more visual, contemporary one. Admission is free, and each edition draws tens of thousands of spectators, making it one of Europe's largest open-air events.
