L'oreille en Place

Held every summer on the Place Royale of Labastide-d'Armagnac, a small medieval bastide town in the Landes, this festival has run since it was founded in 2011. Its eclectic lineup spans jazz in all its forms, world music, chanson, and classical and contemporary works, performed by professional musicians from varied backgrounds. The arcaded royal square gives the open-air concerts an intimate, convivial feel, true to the festival's motto of showcasing everything worth hearing.
