La louche d'or

La Louche d'or is a popular street festival in the Wazemmes neighbourhood of Lille, centred on the Maison Folie. Each spring, the streets turn into one giant communal table where people cook and share soup to the sound of brass bands and artistic collectives. Free and convivial, it blends street food, music and participatory workshops in a neighbourhood-party atmosphere.
