Le Mangeur de Lune - Festival des musiques du monde

Le Mangeur de Lune has been bringing music to the vineyards around Rouffach, in Alsace, every summer since 2007. Born in the countryside far from concert halls, it offers a world music programme spanning swing, gypsy jazz, Balkan and Mediterranean sounds, folk and blues, staged under a circus tent and in Mongolian yurts for more intimate moments. Since 2011 it has expanded to several neighbouring towns, run by a volunteer-led association.
