Le Pêcheur de chaussures

Le Pêcheur de chaussures is a song festival held every summer in Simorre, in the Gers, organized by the association Le Bouche à Oreille (Le BAO). Over several evenings, it brings together folk singing, guitars, accordions, mandolins and goguette-style group singing around shifting regional themes such as the Basque Country or Provence, with shared dinners each evening. The festival also runs a singing workshop and a song-writing workshop followed by an open-mic session.
