About
Leksands spelmansstämma takes place in Leksand, in Dalarna, at the Hembygdsgårdarna, and centres on Swedish folk music, fiddle playing and dance. Organised by Leksands spelmanslag together with Folkmusikens hus, it is part of the Stämmovecka and combines courses, concerts and spontaneous sessions where musicians and dancers meet. Its programme has featured Leksands musikverkstad and Hoven Droven.
