Les agités du mélange

Held in Fresnes-sur-Escaut and organised by the Cap Escaut association since the 1990s, this festival blends music with visual and performing arts across a deliberately eclectic bill, spanning rock, reggae, hip-hop, flamenco and classical music. Exhibitions and theatre pieces round out the programme, alongside a youth strand through the Tremplin des Agités talent platform and a junior edition. Its name, meaning roughly 'the agitated mix', sums up its spirit of genre-blending in northern France.
