Les Arts'oses

Each summer, the Les Arts'oses festival takes over the esplanade of the Dukes of La Trémoïlle's castle in Thouars for two days devoted to urban culture. Run by the Centre Socio-Culturel du Thouarsais since the early 2010s, it blends hip-hop, reggae and electronic music with breakdance battles, street basketball and graffiti exhibitions. The free, community-driven event puts a strong emphasis on accessible culture and local volunteer involvement.
