Les escales du cargo

Les Escales du Cargo takes place at the ancient Roman theatre of Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, over several summer evenings. Born in 2005 when the Cargo de Nuit concert venue decided to step outside its own walls, the festival takes its name from the cargo ships that once sailed up the Rhône, reflecting its spirit of openness to the world. The lineup blends contemporary music, jazz, rock, reggae and electronic sounds with a strong international flavor. The open-air antique setting gives each concert a distinctive atmosphere.
