Les Ethiopiques

Les Ethiopiques has been organized in Bayonne by the Ezkandrai association since the late 2000s. The festival is spread across several neighborhoods, in intimate venues such as churches, cafes or private apartments rather than large halls. Its program combines poetry, music and public debates, between Basque artists and musical traditions from elsewhere, from klezmer to Balkan or West African repertoires.
