About
Founded in 1985 in La Rochelle by Jean-Louis Foulquier, Les Francofolies is dedicated to French-language song, bringing together established artists and emerging talents on several stages set across the town centre and harbour. The festival gave early stages to singers who later became major figures of the French music scene, such as Étienne Daho.
