Les Moyens du Bord

Since 2009, the Les Moyens du Bord festival has taken over the sports ground of La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens, a small village in Brittany's Ille-et-Vilaine, for a summer weekend. Run by a local association, it prides itself on an eclectic lineup spanning reggae-ragga, hip-hop, funk-soul, rock, French chanson and electronic music, and bills itself as one of the friendliest rock gatherings in Brittany's Pays de Rennes area. The festival keeps a deliberately modest, welcoming spirit, built around meeting people and sharing music rather than commercial scale.
