Les Musicales de Louvergny

Born in 1994 out of a bet between friends, Les Musicales de Louvergny (now renamed Louvergny en Musiques) hold a series of musical gatherings every August in the small Ardennes villages of Lametz, Louvergny and Neuvizy. Around fifteen international musicians settle in for over a week to perform a classical and jazz repertoire in the villages' churches, with some concerts followed by a communal meal. The festival is distinguished by its aim of bringing classical music to rural communities.
