Mahindra Kabira Festival

The Mahindra Kabira Festival is held annually in Varanasi on the banks of the Ganges, celebrating the philosophy and poetry of the mystic poet Kabir. Its program blends Hindustani classical music from the Benares gharana, folk traditions, Sufi music, ghazals, and dadra, thumri and khayal styles. The festival also includes heritage walks, boat rides, and the Ganga Aarti ceremony along the city's ghats.
