Mahindra Roots Festival

The Mahindra Roots Festival, launched in Mumbai, explores lost or overlooked forms of Indian culture through theatre, immersive storytelling, poetry and music. Its musical program ranges across folk and classical music, tribal traditions, contemporary Sufi music, abhangas and Bengal's Baul tradition, performed in multiple languages. Shows are spread across landmark city venues, including the Bandra Fort amphitheatre.
