Make Music Day Lviv

Make Music Day Lviv is the local edition of the international Fête de la Musique, born in France in the early 1980s and celebrated every June 21 across the city of Lviv, Ukraine. Since Lviv joined the global movement in 2013, music spills into parks, historic courtyards, balconies, cafes and streets, with no main stage, no tickets and no fixed route: amateurs and professionals, beginners and seasoned musicians all perform freely. The event has grown into one of Lviv's major annual cultural gatherings, carrying added symbolic weight in Ukraine's current context.
