Malmöfestivalen

Founded in 1985, Malmofestivalen is Scandinavia's largest city festival and takes place every summer in the heart of Malmo. Completely free and open to all without registration, it turns the city centre into some twenty stages hosting concerts, dance, theatre, circus and stand-up comedy, with a lineup mixing local, national and international acts. A traditional crayfish party on Stortorget square opens each edition, setting the communal tone for the week.
