Mandopolis festival

On the scale of a village in the hinterland behind Nice, the Mandopolis festival celebrates the mandolin over two days of concerts, encounters and local specialties. In Briançonnet, amateur and professional musicians mingle with the audience in the streets, on small squares and under the trees, from afternoon music sessions to evening serenades. Free and run by volunteers, it has welcomed musicians from Brazil, Turkey, Finland, Algeria and Italy, opening the mandolin up to world music.
