Founded in 1995 in Faenza, in the Emilia Romagna region, MEI brings together independent Italian artists, labels and music industry professionals each autumn for talks, showcases and contests. The programme combines indoor and outdoor concerts across the town's historic centre with professional meetings focused on production and distribution outside the major labels.
