Melafestivalen

Melafestivalen takes place in Oslo, at Rådhusplassen, and was first held in 2001. It describes itself as an urban, genre-crossing meeting place for artistic and cultural expressions that have arrived in Norway through immigration, especially from countries in the South. Its programme brings together Norwegian and foreign artists, with a focus on local artists, and admission is free.
