Mezinárodní folklorní festival Strážnice

Founded in 1946 in Strážnice, in South Moravia, this is the second oldest folklore festival in the Czech Republic. Organized by the National Institute of Folk Culture, it gathers Czech and foreign ensembles every last weekend of June for processions in traditional costume, songs and dances, staged across the château park, the open-air folk museum and the streets of the town.
