Midsummer Mozart Festival

Founded in 1974 by conductor George Cleve, this San Francisco Bay Area festival devotes its entire programming to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Concerts take place across the region in venues ranging from concert halls and churches to Sonoma wineries, featuring international soloists alongside noted local artists. The festival has built a reputation for serious musicianship, well away from easy-listening summer fare.
