Mokranjčevi dani

Mokranjčevi dani is held every year in Negotin, Serbia, the birthplace of composer Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac. Continuously organized since 1966, the festival is devoted to choral music and the legacy of the leading figure of Serbian musical romanticism. Its centerpiece is a choir competition drawing ensembles from Serbia and the former Yugoslavia, alongside performances by international pianists and choirs plus exhibitions and literary events.
