Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering

Founded in 1968 by the Morpeth Antiquarian Society in this historic Northumberland market town, the gathering centres on the region's traditional music, notably the Northumbrian smallpipes, alongside fiddle, accordion and song. The weekend combines concerts, dance and competitions with a costumed procession, run entirely by volunteers.
