Overview
About
The Mostly Mozart Festival was a New York classical music festival, launched in 1966 and presented mainly at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall over the height of summer. It was anchored by its own resident ensemble, the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, originally created to give the city's freelance classical musicians summer work. After longtime conductor Louis Langrée's final concerts in 2023, the festival gave way to a renamed ensemble, the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center, folded into the venue's Summer for the City programming.
