Musikaste

Musikaste, the Basque Music Week, is held every year in Errenteria, in Gipuzkoa, organised by the Eresbil foundation (the Basque Music Archive) and the Andra Mari choir. Founded in 1974 to showcase the repertoire of Basque composers, it offers a varied programme spanning early music, chamber music, choral singing, contemporary music, jazz, dance and current fusion styles. The festival remains a key gathering for musical creation and performance in the Basque Country.
