Musilac has taken place since 2002 on the Esplanade du Lac, on the shore of Lac du Bourget in Aix-les-Bains. The lineup spans a broad range of genres, with rock, pop, electro, hip-hop and French chanson performed across several open-air stages. The lakeside setting, framed by the surrounding Alpine mountains, sets the event apart from other major French generalist festivals.
