About
Founded in 2000 by Alain Mongeau, MUTEK is a Montreal festival devoted to electronic music and digital arts, based in the Quartier des spectacles. It brings together audiovisual performances and installations built around emerging technologies. The Montreal model has since spread internationally, with sister editions in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Japan, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
