Overview
About
Nederlandse Dansdagen is held every year in early October in Maastricht, centred on Theater aan het Vrijthof with additional shows at the Danskerk and various venues across the city. Dedicated to contemporary Dutch dance, it spans everything from classical ballet to urban styles, avant-garde to work for young audiences, bringing together established masters and emerging makers. On the Vrijthof square, the Danstent opens the festival up to everyone, mixing battles, club nights and open dancing.
