New York State Blues Festival

Founded in 1992, this free festival takes place at Chevy Court on the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Its lineup of local, regional and national blues artists is paired with an educational component on the genre's history, including the Blues In The Schools program and the student group Blues Ignition. The event relies heavily on a team of around 100 volunteers.
