Nuits Musicales en Vendée Romane brought classical, jazz and baroque concerts to the heritage setting of Foussais-Payré, one of Vendée's Petites Cités de Caractère. Touring across several towns in the network, including Apremont, Mallièvre and Mortagne-sur-Sèvre, the festival has since been renamed Les Estivales de Caractère.
