About
The Ördögkatlan Fesztivál unfolds each summer over five days across Nagyharsány, Beremend, Villánykövesd and Kisharsány, at the foot of the Villány hills in southern Hungary. A multidisciplinary event, it combines theatre, jazz and other concerts, literature, film, exhibitions and children's workshops, with an old stone quarry as its emblematic venue, where Hungarian and foreign sculptors have been creating works for decades. Its name, tied to a local devil legend, captures the festival's spirit of culture, community and celebration set in a striking rocky landscape.
