About
Founded in 1980 by local musicians, the Ottawa Jazz Festival moved in 1989 to Confederation Park in the downtown core, where it has held its own outdoor stage ever since. The lineup spans a broad range, from traditional jazz to more experimental forms, with a strong emphasis on Canadian artists.
