About
The Pacific Music Festival is held every summer in Sapporo, Japan, since its founding in 1990 by conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein together with the London Symphony Orchestra. An educational classical music festival, it brings together young musicians selected from around the world each year for intensive training under renowned conductors and soloists, culminating in orchestral and chamber concerts. Since its creation it has trained thousands of young instrumentalists from dozens of countries.
