Paris Banlieues Tango

Created in October 1998 in Fontenay-sous-Bois with support from the City of Paris and the Argentine embassy, the Paris Banlieues Tango festival celebrates the richness of Argentine tango across the Paris region over several weeks. Run by the FAMA association, it spreads around seventy events (concerts, milongas, workshops, screenings, exhibitions) across roughly thirty venues in Paris and its suburbs, ranging from traditional tango to electronic tango and contemporary crossovers.
