Parkes Elvis Festival

The Parkes Elvis Festival takes place every year in the regional town of Parkes, New South Wales, celebrating the music and legacy of Elvis Presley. It grew from a single evening concert in 1992 into a multi day event that now draws tens of thousands of visitors for concerts, street parades, markets and competitions. Its centrepiece is the Elvis tribute artist contest, and the festival holds official recognition from the Presley estate.
