Pasifika Festival

Pasifika Festival takes place at Western Springs Lakeside Park in Auckland, spread across two days with villages representing Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Tahiti, Tokelau, Tuvalu, Kiribati and Maori. Each village runs its own stage, mixing traditional dance and drumming, choirs, brass bands and contemporary Pacific music from hip hop to DJ sets. Run by Auckland Council, it is one of the world's largest Pacific cultural gatherings, free and open to everyone.
