About
The Peterborough Folk Festival has taken place in downtown Peterborough, Ontario, including at Nicholls Oval Park, since it began in 1989. It is Canada's longest-running free-admission folk festival, funded through donations and sponsorships, and its program centres on folk and related genres with both Canadian and international artists. Now a registered charity, it draws several thousand visitors each edition.
