Petworth Festival

Petworth Festival takes place in Petworth, in the South Downs, and brings together three distinct events: the Petworth Proms, the Summer Festival and the Literary Festival. Founded by Lord Egremont, composer Robert Walker and musicologist Gerald Abraham, it presents music, arts and literary programming across venues in and around the town, including St Mary’s Church, Leconfield Hall and Petworth House. The festival also runs arts education outreach in local schools.
