Piano Is Not Dead

Founded in 2013, this touring festival takes over several venues across Le Havre each winter, from Le Tetris at Fort de Tourneville to Oscar Niemeyer's Volcan, the Arthur Honegger conservatory, and even the city's tramway. It celebrates the piano in all its diversity, from classical to jazz, electro, rap, and film-concerts, through performances, interactive installations, workshops, and shows for younger audiences. Its guiding idea is to bring different repertoires and audiences together around a single instrument, reinvented with each edition.
