Plácido Domingo Classics

Plácido Domingo Classics is an international multicultural festival launched in Pécs in 2017 as a tribute to tenor Plácido Domingo, created by the city together with international partners. Its first edition brought together renowned opera singers, with Domingo himself performing the role of Giorgio Germont in Verdi's La Traviata. The festival centres on opera performances and classical concerts staged at various venues around the Hungarian city.
