The Portalblau festival takes place at Empúries, the archaeological site in L'Escala, Catalonia, where music, performing arts and talks engage with the Mediterranean landscape. Concerts are staged in heritage locations such as the Roman Forum, with free access to most of the programme and a values driven approach to sustainability and gender equality.
