About
The Púca Festival takes place around Samhain in the historic towns of Athboy and Trim in County Meath, Ireland, the very places tradition credits with the origins of Halloween over 2,000 years ago. A torchlit procession winds through Trim behind towering puppets, while Athboy hosts traditional seanchaí storytellers, circus acts and a night market. Trim Castle is lit up after dark with folklore-themed projections.
