About

Founded in 2005 by booking agent Seth Fein, the Pygmalion Music Festival takes over several venues across Champaign and Urbana, including the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and the Canopy Club, with concurrent shows in a format similar to SXSW. Built around an indie and alternative lineup, it has hosted artists such as Janelle Monáe and Playboi Carti shortly before they broke through.
