Quartiers d'été

Quartiers d'été was a free festival held each summer in the Parc des Gayeulles in Rennes, run by the association le 4bis. A distinctive feature of the event was that its preparation and organization relied heavily on young volunteers during the school summer break. The eclectic lineup gave pride of place to hip hop culture and world music, in a community-driven, grassroots spirit.
