Ragnarök Festival

Ragnarök Festival takes place each spring at the town hall in Lichtenfels, Bavaria, and has grown into one of Germany's leading gatherings for pagan and black metal. Founded in 2004 by Ivo Raab, it began modestly in Hollfeld before moving to the larger Lichtenfels venue in 2006 to keep up with its growing audience. The entirely indoor event now brings together around thirty bands each year spanning Viking metal, pagan metal, black metal and folk metal.
