Rainbow Spirit Festival

Formerly known as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Rainbow Spirit Festival takes place each year at Lexton in Victoria, about 160 kilometres west of Melbourne, over the Australia Day long weekend in late January. This multi-day outdoor gathering centres on electronic music, especially psytrance and minimal techno, alongside art installations and workshops. Regarded as one of Australia's major bush doofs, it took its current name in 2023 out of respect for the Rainbow Serpent's significance in Aboriginal culture.
